A Chance to Talk With Office Engineers!

By Jesse Gamble on July 24, 2019

On Tuesday, July 30th, engineers from the Outlook and OneNote teams will be hosting an online call to talk with Office users about their recent experiences! And they would love to hear from YOU, our Office Insider community!

How does it work?

You’ll be given an opportunity to have a 1:1 call with engineers from the Outlook and OneNote teams! Each call is expected to last between 5 and 10 minutes, and will focus on your recent experiences using those apps. You may also be asked about your thoughts on new or upcoming features you may not have had an chance to try out yet! The call may go a bit longer if there is a need to dive deeper on a subject.

The entire call happens online in a web browser, no need to download or install anything to participate! The call is anonymous, and you will not be asked for your name or any other personal information. We also ask that you do not offer any such information during the call. The call will not be recorded, but Microsoft may take notes about the discussion.

How do I participate?

Simply go to https://ux.microsoft.com/Talk/OfficeInsiders and click on the “Add to Calendar” button at the left hand side of the page. This will add a reminder to Outlook for you to come back to the page between 9:30am and 11:30am PDT on the 30th.

On July 30th, anytime between 9:30am and 11:30am, go back to the User Research page and there will be a button to click that will add you to the online reception area to wait for your opportunity to speak with the engineers. Once it is your turn, a button will pop up for you to click to join the call with Office engineers.

Full details are available at the site linked above! We look forward to hearing from you!
