By Jesse Gamble on December 12, 2018

Hello Office Insiders!

We just released Version 1812 (Build 11126.20074), a preview of the December 2018 feature update for Office 365 subscribers on Windows. Give it a try! From any Office app, go to the File > Account menu and check for updates.

What’s New in 1812

Ink a splendid slide (PowerPoint)

Convert your ink to and text, then get smart slide design ideas from PowerPoint Designer.

Build in time between back-to-back meetings (Outlook)

Give attendees time to catch their breath or travel between locations by setting meetings to end 5 or 10 minutes early, by default.

Improve comprehension (Word)

Focus on just a few lines at a time while you listed to text being read to you. Read Aloud lets you choose a 1-line, 3-line, or whole-document view.

Take your doc from static to stunning (Word)

Transform your document into an interactive, easy-to-share web page that looks great on any device.

Say goodbye to broken Excel links (Visio)

Can’t find the Excel workbook linked to your Data Visualizer diagram? Relink it, and you’re back in business.
